Hazardous Materials Are Not Accepted.

A transfer station decal indicating right to use facility is required, and proof may be requested by the Attendant. Lempster residents and taxpayers may purchase the decal for $5.00 from the Town Clerk or from the Administrative Secretary during their regular office hours.

Disposal fees are payable at time of disposal, either by coupon purchased from the Town Clerk, or by check. No cash is accepted! Unsuitable or unpaid material may be refused.

Recyclables include:
• Mixed metals ('mostly metal').
• Glass/ceramic/porcelain ('it breaks').
• Paper/cardboard/newsprint/magazines (clean, flat, no plastic or foam) ('it tears').
• 'Co-mingled' Containers of steel, aluminum, and types 1 (soda) and 2 (milk/OJ) plastic (reasonably clean, and flattened - so we don't have to ship air!).
