Household paints may be accepted at the discretion of the Attnendant, and a fee will be charged.

*Fee is determined by Attendant. Demolition fee is charged for ALL building materials. Asphalt shingles incur double fee.
     
Burn Pit materials are strictly limited to untreated and unpainted lumber, and brush under 5" diameter. Ask Attendant about yard waste and leaves.

A transfer station decal indicating right to use facility is required, and proof will be requested by the Attendant. Lempster residents and taxpayers may purchase 1-2 decals for $10.00 from the Town Clerk during regular office hours. Vehicle registration is required for each vehicle, and the decal must be affixed to an assigned vehicle where the attendant can easily see it.

Disposal fees are payable at time of disposal, either by coupon purchased from the Town Clerk, or by check. No cash is accepted. Unsuitable or unpaid material may be refused.

Recyclables include:
• Mixed metals (bulk, 'mostly metal', NO PROPANE tanks!).
• Paper/cardboard/newsprint/magazines (clean, flat, no plastic or foam. 'it tears').
• Types 1-7 household plastic containers (reasonably clean, and flattened - we don't want to ship air!).
• Steel 'tin cans'.
• Aluminum beverage cans.
• Florescent light bulbs and tubes (please handle carefully to avoid breakage).
• TV's and computer monitors (ALL).

Recycling is urged! Please ask the Attendant if you have questions, and please pre-sort your recyclable materials to help avoid traffic backups.
